Seven

This has been quite a year Off it went, in full gear  ⚙️  ; Six just flew It would be so short, we wish we earlier knew! Mommy has joined office again, Papa, as usual, just pretend! I now know to figure out ways To make both-of them bend and shower me praise. Time, Money and multiplication that’s new in the course  Kannada as third language, govt has enforced! EVS is full of topics that charm Learning to keep myself safe is better than any harm. English is now full of comprehension and grammar I wish to be a teacher, definitely not a farmer. All professions are noble, nothing against it What I make of my life is, but my treat. Computer is fun, have always enjoyed it Tux typing and all, never had to quit; Hindi, O my That being my second language, Can never say bye  👋 !! Teachers make me stand in the class at time, Naah, I am not naughty; But talking is my crime!! But then its in genes  🧬   Paternal habit, in me it reigns!

Schools - what is its main aim?

My kid is in class 1 of a renowned school in Bangalore. We started with this because it was closer to our place. Not that we had a great feedback about it. We thought, a school is a school. And a teacher is a teacher, a guru - someone worthy of respect. Alas, our whole concept of school and teacher had turned 180 degree up and down once we got to know the ground realities of this school. We started with JKG. The teacher started showing colors right from the first term. My kid had been a sharp kid. The very first couple of months into the school, I saw her performance degrading. During the first PTM, I checked with the other parents how their kids were doing. Everyone had the same idea that their kids were only getting worse. First I thought maybe kids are taking time to adjust. But no, what shocked me was couple of students were doing well! Really well. I was of the thought - wow smart kids! I wish that was true. Finally turned out the teacher was taking private tutions for those ki
