Pink is not just a color...

Girls - such a lovely creation of the Almighty! The rumors are that God created men and he realized that he can do much better. And hence he made women! Keeping the jokes behind, lets just concentrate on the fact that men or women, they are wonderful. Women has always been considered the weaker section of the society. In the very early years, maybe the women used to be at home and men used to fight in the jungles and get food for the family. Who knows the reality? its only some very old scriptures which depict that. Okay lets ignore that part too. In the modern era, men and women are working shoulder to shoulder. There ain't any field, be it science, astronomy, medical, engineering,  computers, nurse, hospitality, etc etc. where we do not find women. No job is now a men's job and nothing as such as women's. Men do share equal responsibilities in the household work these days. and women share their paycheck! However time and again, women has been labelled, look down

The Golden Jubilee - my 50th post

The title is funny, I know! But this is special for me. Writing the 50th post gives me an immense sense of joy and satisfaction! Never really been a writer. When I started with this blog, I didn't imagine I would come this far. But blogging has given me wings. It's a source wherein I could jot down my feelings. I started off in that way. Whether someone reads my posts or not was not my concern. I just pen down. One after the other, it just came in. I would feel a tremendous sense of relief after writing each post. Somewhere I have jotted down my frustrations, some has my recipes, some are pure feelings, some just calculated thoughts. This medium has given me a way to bring out what's deep rooted inside. I never introspect as to what Grammar, antonyms, synonyms, verbs, etc  I use. All I care about is, whatever I scribble should reach the other heart, if at all someone is reading it! If none, then too I'm never disheartened. At least my feelings are out and I feel

Uri Attack and movie bans...The consequent Whys?!

Image
The Internet is flooded with too much of news on how the Bollywood film industry is reacting on the bans, how and why the Uri attack happened, how many of our soldiers died, how the Honorable Prime Minister took this matter, etc etc etc. What my question is -What is the main issue? Does anyone have an answer to that? It's nothing new, isn't it? We are attacked by our neighbors. For some days, or maximum couple of months we are all worried about what is happening to our country. And then, we are too busy with our own lives to even give a thought to it! Funny? Absolutely not. Let's have some shame and look into what's really bothering our country. It's seen that since 2015, the number of people willing to sacrifice themselves for their country has increased considerably! You might think it is good. Yes sure, if it had been for a good purpose! We are here talking of the militants! They are now more adamant to die fighting against the Indian army! Starting with

10 things that keeps a mom tired, always!

Image
The woman who loves us unconditionally from birth, the one who puts her kids before herself and the one who you can always count on ! We literally count on her for everything. That’s what makes a mom tired. Do we care? No! Not until we are a mother ourselves. Here I state 10 reasons why moms are always tired! 1.       Perfection – Right from the day the baby is born, a mom is born too! And we all instinctively have the urge to be perfect. To be the perfect mom! This takes a toll on not only our physical health, but our mental health too! We all love our kids; everyone is struggling to do their best, every single day. Let’s accept without any shame, no one is perfect. We are all learning, daily. As our kids grow, we grow as a mother too. 2.       Availability – In the urge to be perfect, we feel like we should be available for our child 24*7. But let’s bear in our minds that we are all humans. We cannot survive without rest, the nap! There is simply no harm in seeking help. W

The cricket crazy nation!

Image
The title is self-explanatory, isn't it? We belong to this nation! Cricket is the festival here and the cricketers, God! Funny, but true. This blog of mine come up as I came across an article comparing the then and now captains of the team. I found it absolutely absurd. How can we compare two different persons, two different teams of two different times? The game of cricket is such deep rooted in our veins that even if we do not like it, we cannot really pass by a TV where the live score is flashing! Or can we? No. We, well most of my generation, have literally grown up with the craze for this game. We hardly played any other sport. Live match means we used to be glued to our television sets. This, every single day! I was such a fanatic that I once even asked my headmistress to declare a holiday because India was there playing the quarter finals! That was way back, maybe in March, 1996! Good old days. We loved the game. We cherished the victories of the team and mourn
