Uri Attack and movie bans...The consequent Whys?!

The Internet is flooded with too much of news on how the Bollywood film industry is reacting on the bans, how and why the Uri attack happened, how many of our soldiers died, how the Honorable Prime Minister took this matter, etc etc etc. What my question is -What is the main issue?

Does anyone have an answer to that? It's nothing new, isn't it? We are attacked by our neighbors. For some days, or maximum couple of months we are all worried about what is happening to our country. And then, we are too busy with our own lives to even give a thought to it! Funny? Absolutely not.

Let's have some shame and look into what's really bothering our country. It's seen that since 2015, the number of people willing to sacrifice themselves for their country has increased considerably! You might think it is good. Yes sure, if it had been for a good purpose! We are here talking of the militants! They are now more adamant to die fighting against the Indian army!

Starting with the Gurdaspur attack in July 2015 to the Pathankot tragedy earlier this year, we have seen how they have no fear to just pierce into our country and cause destruction! To add some more spice, the very beautiful state of Jammu and Kashmir is under unrest conditions since July this year. This has been described as the worst violence since 2010. And then, the Uri attack.

Uri attack, the 16th September attack has blown off the lid. This was now reported as the "deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades". 17 of our Jawans became martyrs. Only 4 of the attackers were killed.

In view of what happened the tension just increased on both the sides of the border. India refused to attend the 19th SAARC summit! And in retaliation, our army ventured into the enemy land 11 days after the Uri attack, having their own claims.

My thinking is a bit different in the whole affair -

1. What was different this time that we made the surgical strikes? So are we trying to show what we are made up of? I am obviously liking it, but why we have to wait for 11 days to attack? We need to be progressively aggressive. I don't mean to say we should go around destroying other nations. But at least we should be truculent to the limits such that no one should have the guts to keep repeating the same kinds of treachery again and again.

2. How could they enter our nation? Time and again we have been having such incidents. Are we not vigilant enough? I'm not questioning the security system of our country or the brave army men saving us. All I want is to learn how is it possible? Is it that they are too clever? Or we too dumb? Or is it someone residing in our country, some one who breathes our air who is helping such miscreants? I for once, do not understand it. Sad.

3. Why have we banned the media personalities? To me it's simple, if any country is making our lives difficult, then let's not let them help earn revenue from us! And it's not a big deal.

4. Some of the bollywood fraternity not supporting the ouster of the actors from the other country. Why? I understand you are showing solidarity but don't you have some responsibilities towards the country? When it's the country at stake, a movie could be very well sacrificed.

5. Banning of the movies - well, this is funny. Let it release or not. The people of India are mature enough to decide which movie they want to see and enjoy! No banning is actually required.

The one thing that we didn't see this time was, banning of India Cricket playing matches against the said neighbor. The most funny reaction we always get!! But it has got its main reasons. We need to safeguard our players. There might be some more points. I would keep updating as my head starts clearing. Till then....
