I care about no negativity!!
No storm can make me stop,
It's no movie that I would be flop!
It's but my life,
And, I am, very much alive!!!
This journey would not end
Till I have seen the mountains bend...
The waves in the ocean would sure be swirled
Wayfaring till I have seen the whole world!!!!

Yeah I know, I have taken to writing again after a very long time. But here is an important issue on hand and I just could not stop myself from blogging on this! Hindi - is this the national language of India? Well, in short the answer is No. Let me tell you the story behind this. Till 1965, Articles 343 and 345 of the Constitution of India specified that the official language of India to be Hindi in Devanagari script, though states of India were free to adopt one or more local languages for all or any of the official purposes of that state. Pursuant to agitations particularly in South India in the 60s, today 22 languages carry official status and Government documents can be in any of the 22 recognized official languages. Axomia - the cultural heart!

Axomia or Assamese as we are popularly know as in English! Axom has a very rich culture. Not many people outside the state are aware of the beauty and culture of this pragmatic section of people. Here I mention some distinctive terms associated with Asom and Axomia people, in general! Dhubri - the land of Rivers! Dhubri is a small town and the administrative headquarter of Dhubri district in Assam.
