Officially, we are Ten!

-

Moods and moments described our nine,

But the following months went on just fine.

Mommy and kiddo both do twine,

And we are aging like fine wine!


Science facts and experiments we love,

We are the love angels, we are the love dove!

Mathematics is still not our cup of tea;

But, learning it is a necessary to pay our fee!


Trips to Goa again and then to Wayanad..

Vacation this year had been our fad!

Schools then started to physical this year

Looks like life is finally starting on third gear!!


First Unit Tests of the year in July

Due to corona, couple of them we had  to say bye-bye

August end we went to Lucknow 

With extended family we went with the flow!


Towards the end, in Kashmir we landed

Right towards the houseboat we headed!

Mountains and snow, shikara and flower

Gardens and more, we lost track of the hour!

Apharwat peak and snow

Border and the soldiers


Back to Bangalore and same old ways

Life goes on with the colourful rays

The painful news of losing a dear one

back to Lucknow our tour began…


October beginning was a little tough for us

Nevertheless, we made no fuss.

With the new year we brought in some fun

And watched Maverick Top Gun!


In February, the birthday season soon followed

And with that, all old pain we swallowed!

Moving on to ten with zest and pride

We always shine with no reasons to hide!!

Axomia - the cultural heart!

Axomia or Assamese as we are popularly know as in English! Axom has a very rich culture. Not many people outside the state are aware of the beauty and culture of this pragmatic section of people. Here I mention some distinctive terms associated with Asom and Axomia people, in general! Bihu - "Otikoi Senehor Mugare Mekhela, Otikoi Senehor Maku, Tatukoi Senehor Rongali Bihuti, Napaati Kenekoi Thaku" No doubts when we hear the word Bihu, only Asom comes to our minds. Bihu is like one of the trademarks of Asom. Bihu is the main festival of Asom. Assamese - the language and its dialects

The rich state of Asom sees mainly Assamese being spoken by the people here. Assamese in fact has two main dialects, namely Kamrupia and Goalpariya. This is just a brief on both the dialects of Assamese language. Kamrupia - The Kamrupia dialect is the oldest and the very first ancient Aryan literary language spoken by the people residing in the Barak valley. The Kamrupia dialect in itself has four main dialects! The four dialects that comprises the Kamrupia dialect are - Barpetiya, Nalbariya, Kamrupi and South Kamrupi.  Barpetia - Spoken mainly by the people from Barpeta district, Barpetia dialect is used by a large section of people in Assam.  Nalbaria - The Nalbaria dialect is mostly spoken by the people of the Nalbari district of Assam.  Kamrupia - this dialect is spoken by the major segment of people in Assam.
